After graduating at First Art High School of Rome, he studied Fine Arts, Architecture and Environmental design at the Parsons School of Design, New York and photography at the New School for Social Research. He worked as an architect in New York, where he lived for five years and, in Italy, as a stage set designer with Franco Zeffirelli and Edoardo Sanchi at the Arena of Verona and the Rome Opera Theatre. In 1999 he began working at Studio FM Milano and became a partner in 2000. He teaches visual communication at the Politecnico di Milano and, from 2004, he teaches at the Master’s program of Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano. In 2014 he has directed the master course in brand identity at the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design).He has art directed Riders magazine since its birth in 2007 to 2012.
