Pavel Fuksa started his design career quite early at the age of 4, when he started drawing his own maps and flags. Since his age of 25, he worked as a Creative Director in agencies in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Dubai, Japan, Qatar or Lebanon in network powerhouses such as JWT, Dentsu, Y&R or TBWA on clients such as Coke, HSBC, Expo 2020, Vodafone, Visa, Nike, Budweiser, Kitkat or Lego. He has led the international team that has won a USD 68M account in Egypt, covering the Egyptian Tourism Authority globally.
As a design/creative director, he freelances for agencies and clients from all around the world. His personal clients include Barack Obama, Microsoft, ESPN, Nike, Google, American Express, Fortune 500, Twitter, Facebook, Marks & Spencer, VEVO, Greenpeace, Mercedes, Budweiser, Intel, Absolut, Qatar Airlines & more.
For his creative campaigns, he has won almost every international award: LIA, D&AD, Epica, Eurobest, Adprint, Golden Drum, ADC Global, Lynx Dubai, Loeries, New York Festivals, PIAF, Agency Of The Year (ADC SK), Best Independent Agency in Europe (Golden Drum), Agency of the Year (Adprint), ADC CZ or Venice TV festival to name a few.
For the last three consecutive years, he has been picked three times among World’s 200 Best Illustrators by Lürzer’s Archive magazine, featured in 30 under 30 Best Graphic Designers Worldwide by Computer Arts and currently holds 1st place among both Czech Art Directors and Illustrators in Czech all-time rankings.
He was named a Creative Director of the Year in 2013, and is being invited to join the international juries on high-profile creative festivals such as New York Festival, ADC Europe, AdStars South Korea, Baltic Best or as a jury president at ADC Baltic. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, he has won Music Designer of the year award.
