The aim of the website is to tell the story of The Independence of Ukraine and concomitant events using modern design language. The website includes the following sections: state formation, economics & finance, defense, social sphere, external policy science & technology, culture & sport, Crimea. The design of the website should have resembled the time period of the Ukrainian state formation and communicate it with the modern audience. To achieve both of purposes was decided to apply the bright color, broken grid and massive font on the one hand and the regular font and simplicity in color scheme on the other. As a result, the design disguises itself as an old-fashioned textbook giving itself away by its fresh and dramatic user experience.
