C5 bar stool

"Airplane" is certainly the first association that occurs when you see the C5. We've always been attracted to the aesthetics of the aircraft and the colossal work that is being done in this industry for several centuries. Airplane is an extremely technological thing, designed to the smallest screw, and every such screw should sit firmly in place and ensure the integrity of the entire machine. Also, we've been inspired by American architecture of the 1950s, in particular the so-called Googie architecture. It used parabolic shape and those that represent the speed and swiftness. Architecture critic Douglas Haskell noted that the buildings must appear to defy gravity, "...whenever possible, the building must hang from the sky". In bar stool C5 a metal seat is a central element, and it seemed to descend from the sky, resting on wooden legs.
