WINNERS 2019

This is design and layout of the book by famous writer Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol “Mirgorod”. Design recreates the mystical atmosphere of his novels. This book is based on Ukrainian folklore and it is published in follow-up to the book “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka”. The book got its name from the small town Mirhorod in Poltava Governorate where the author had grown. The prototype of some characters became his relatives and people that he had known living in Ukraine.
