The main task while producing the New Year identification of ICTV is to deviate from TVcliches that are used every year to create Christmas mood and the New Year atmosphere. The idea is to gain the subconscious association with the main object of the holiday – the Christmas tree. The holiday effect is enforced by the director’s trick – transferring from bright light to dark with the addition of illumination effects.
