Discover Uzhhorod is a tourist company promoting Uzhhorod (a city in western Ukraine) as a tourist destination. The company required a positive, vivid identity that would be perceived positive regardless of age or social status. Combining the initials with location symbols, and turning the logotype into a playful slogan (DU! – Discover Uzhhorod; Yes, I DU!) was the solution i came up with. The use of bright colors and irregular placement of the elements convey the idea of new impressions, discoveries and the joy of traveling. While overlapping colors speak about the unexpected outcomes of new meetings.
