And now, meet the Millheat App. Mill is a Norwegian company designing and developing beautiful and smart heating and climate products. And when we say beautiful and smart, we really mean that. We were thrilled to implement a mobile application for remote control of these finest devices, which was our main task. The primary functional solution of the Millheat app was to review the air performance (carbon dioxide level, VOCs, and humidity) and maintain a comfortable temperature. Thanks to this mobile application, users can easily build a schedule of temperature regimes during the week. Moreover, the app informs users about the air condition and displays electricity consumption statistics for heating. “The future is here” — what else can we say. In UI development, we were inspired by the product design of the following devices. They looked so sleek, minimalistic, and I dare to say — perfect in the way a heater can look. No wonder that the Mill company got the Red Dot award for its product design! We couldn't help but make a strong connection between the mobile application and the device itself, both in visual design and functionality. Yes, we did our best to turn the Millheat app into that perfectly-balanced between comfort and economy one, which strongly resonates with Norvegian philosophy and lifestyle.
