In this opening sequence for Ukrainian documentary, Children of Victory, juxtaposes images of children at play with the horrors of World War II. The documentary tells the story of six people, all children at the time, who survived the war. In the open, each child draws a picture with a piece of chalk. But each drawing represents far more: each of them show something dear that the children lost as a result of the war.
