Alma TV, a Kazakh TV provider, wanted to promote sales of TV subscription by introducing new National Geographic series – One Strange Rock. The documentary about our planet Earth, directed by Darren Aronofsky and hosted by Will Smith. To make people interested in the series about the most studied planet we launched a digital campaign and asked everybody a simple question: «What’s your planet”? We introduced an interactive web-experience that let people rediscover their planet by learning unknown facts about the Earth from the series. Users could also discover their unique personal planets, and share them in Facebook. The digital activation was supported by social media posts and videos, internet banners and the user generated content in Facebook.
