General rules

The national contest of design Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of 2021 is open for all Ukrainian designers and participants of advertising & communication market.

Entries that have been published or represented in the mass-media or embodied in other form (accepted by the client) during January 2020 – April 2021 incl. are accepted for participation in the competition program.*

* NEW! This year, entries that have been launched or released in the previous competition period from January 2019 are also accepted for participation. 

Concept projects are accepted for competition program in special category «Concept» only.

For student entries there is condition: entrant must have the status of student. To confirm this status entrant should download scan copy of student card or another document that confirm the fact of entry creation within educational process. 

All entry materials, documentation and payment must be received in the Festival office till 25 April 2021.

Only one entrant may submit an entry within a category, i.e. either the agency or the production company may enter a piece that both parties have worked on, but not both. One campaign may be submitted into the different categories.

Confidentiality of judging: Entry should not include an agency’s name or logo anywhere in the entry form or creative materials. Jury shouldn’t know whose entry they judge.

By making an entry and paying the entry fee in full, the entrant confirms that they have the legal right to enter the festival on the terms of these rules. 

In order to promote the Festival, the organizers may screen, publish or reproduce all materials submitted to the site for purposes of promoting the Festival.

To take a part in contest program:

1. Preparation for participation:

  • Read through the rules and categories in the entry section. 
  • Check the material requirements for each entry section.

2. Register on on the festival site: 

Fill in all fields;  

  • Please check your contact information carefully. It will be used for communication with the Organizing Committee; 
  • Make sure that you have entered the company name without quotation marks, parentheses, and ownership to the field «Participant’s name», because its duplicated on the site, in the diploma and Ceremony.
  • The account activation details will be sent to you by e-mail after you provide all required information.
  • Activate your account by clicking on the link in the email. Then you can upload entry.

3. Submit your entry:

  • — Choose the suitable category and complete the entry form;
  • — Complete all information about the title, advertiser, credits, compulsory questions etc.;
  • — Check the form details and click «Submit»;
  • — Upload your entry on-line and please make sure your files meet our requirements. 
  • Attention! Editing is possible only BEFORE the invoice request.

4. Request an invoice for payment  after completing the registration entries:

  • — Go to «My bills» of your personal account  and request the invoice for payment.
